Our Happy Place!

We have arrived! The following picturs and comments are the Taylor Sister version of project runway. Plesae enjoy! The object of our outing was to find fun exciting outfits for Lynn to wear in Japan and when she comes home to visit. The designer's garments that best fit those requirements were picked....
These were a few dresses that caught our eye when entering the clothing department. Unfortunately for their designers the judges did not pick any of them for you to wear in Japan.
This is us using the "Target" accessory wall to compliment the garments we are about to buy you.
The judges thought these items were not so awesome.... we thought they were poor made and not your type!

The shirt Katie is wearing is a green colored razor back tank top. Perfect for dining out with your husband or friends. It was screaming "Lynn, wear me!" when we walked past it.

This is us trying to figure Catherine's dress out. The dress Laura is wearing is actually a navy sun dress... very comfy!

We did purchase the red shirt Julie is wearing as well as the sun dress Laura is wearing but the black dress that Catherine is wearing did not make the cut. We couldn't figure out how to wear it... many many straps around the waist, but very cute!

This is a very comfy shirt that could be dressed up or down, definitely needs a tank top underneath :)

This is a cute sun dress... very comfy and would go well with a cute necklace or scarf to Jazz it up!

Clearly, we were very successful! Target is such a wonderful place... we had so much fun picking out stuff for you, Lynn! If there is anything you don't think is for you... please say so! You too are a judge on Taylor Project Runway!
I will most likely head to the post office on Wednesday so you have approximately three days to say so, or forever hold your peace....
We sure wish you could have been there to join us. It just isn't the same without you! We miss you tons.

SNOW!!

Lynn & Mike - thought you might like to see a few pictures of the snow!  Do you miss it!?  Its been on the ground for weeks now.  Needless to say we are jealous of your weather in Japan and Vegas. Brrrrrr

We Are the Champions!!

Hey guys -

Just wanted to brag a little... I mean, if you can't brag to your family, who else can you brag to, right? Last Friday the Operations Group had a wives' crud tournament. There were 10 teams total and our team took home the hardware!!

We had an awesome time but I couldn't help thinking how much all of you would love to play! We would actually have 2 full teams if all 12 of us played! Next time we are home, count on a game on the 4th floor of Marian!!! The rules are similar to Jeff Taylor's two-man with slightly different rules.

The table here is a snooker table but a true crud table has no side pockets.

We are the champions!
Not only did we get a trophy but we got gift certificates for free massages!!

Can't wait to teach you guys the game!!

The Koke's Hit the Slopes

We had so much fun!

We just got back from Crystal Mountain! We had a great time and all of us improved our skills! I even made it down wipe out (which was a sheet of ice!) Without falling!!!
Wish you guys could have been there.... let's go to Denver next year!

Valentine's Thoughts

There is a lady that works with us at Browning - her name is Lee. She comes in on Wed/Fri to do our filing/admin work. She is so sweet, and often at the Holidays she will leave little treats with messages on our desks. Today she left us each a mini loaf of banana bread and a little card that I thought was worth sharing. It reads as follows:

God's Valentine Message:
Love is patient,
love is kind.
It does not envy,
it does not boast.
It is not proud
it is not rude.
It is not self-seeking,
it is not easily angered.
It keeps no record of wrongs.
Love does not delight in evil
but rejoices in truth.
It always protects,
always trusts,
always hopes,
always perseveres.
1Corinthians 13:4-7

Then she suggested that we read it over 3 times. The first time as it is, the second time, replace the word "Love/it" with "God", and the third time replace "Love/it" with your name. It really made me think about how I emulate love as God intended it.

Just a little food for thought as we head into the Valentine season. I love you all!!
